Where Can I Get Confidential and Affordable Treatment?

by Sadness
(Santa Fe Springs, CA, USA)

I have genital herpes been living with it for 25 years. I’m ashamed and depressed sometimes. I wished at times death is the only solution. I am so embarrassed to even tell my doctor, even when I apply at jobs I get nervous when they do the physical because my right side of my face is abnormal due to the STD I have. I don’t know where to turn my life is full of sadness, depression; no one knows that I have genital herpes except when the doctor diagnosed me. That was 14 years ago and ever since I never went back. I cry every night and day. I’m losing hope every second. Please find me a place where it is affordable and confidential.

Dear Sadness,

I understand where you’re coming from. I was also upset and ashamed when I first found out I had herpes.

Depression is a common reaction following a herpes diagnosis and it can get absolutely horrible. These emotions can overwhelm you with feelings of isolation and loneliness.

But your life is definitely not over. Don’t let herpes define who you are or dictate how you should live. You are still that same wonderful person who is worthy to love and be loved. You deserve to be happy.

Now if you’re feeling suicidal, please seek help. This is a serious matter which needs to be dealt with. Do check out this page on Herpes and Depression for tips on how to deal with it.

To answer your question, I recommend GetSTDTested.com. I’ve been in contact with their company for years now and know firsthand how reliable and affordable their services are. You can also try STDExpress.com as their private tests can be conveniently done right at the comfort of your home.

Remember that 1 in every 6 US adults have genital herpes so it’s really quite common. Lots of them go on dates, have great jobs, get married and start a family... and just continue living their lives to the fullest.

You can do it too! Don’t give up. If you need someone to talk to, consider joining a Herpes Support Group. You'll find lots of lovely people in the same boat and ready to help.

Warm Regards,

Gary
