Burning sensation all over my body??

Hello, I am a 35 year old male and I just recently found out that I have HSV-2 after receiving results from a blood test that stated I have an elevated level of anti-bodies in my system. Although I don't believe that I have ever had the typical outbreak that most people get. I have never developed the blisters or sores that have fluid inside that eventually crust over and then disappear. The only thing I have experienced is a small amount of red inflammation on the upper shaft of my penis just below the tip. It burns slightly but then is usually gone within 48 hours.

But my question is this... recently I have developed a burning sensation on my skin on various parts of my body. It's not really localized to one area and I tend to feel it on my arms, legs, shoulders, and sometimes my back. The best comparison I can make is that it feels like sunburn. Sometimes I feel it for hours on end, sometimes a few minutes. And it tends to come and go. The burning is not that painful, but more annoying than anything. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before after finding out they have HSV-2? I'm wondering if this is common or if it could be something more serious that is unrelated. I am seeing my doctor in a few weeks but I can't seem to find anything relevant on the internet. Please help. Thanks!
